Emilie Braun passed away peacefully on March 10, 2009 to be home forever with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She was born November 4, 1922 in the area of Platschischewo, Poland.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, George; step-children in Germany, Adolf (Katarina), Waldemar (Erna), Harry (Lubov) and Hilda (Hans); her sisters, Johanna Beer, Hedwig (Alfred) Hapke, Emma (Adam) Scherl and Helga (Fred) Kehl; brothers, Gustav (Eva) and Otto Kletke; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Gustav and Emma Kletke; her sister, Lundine Heuss and brother, Waldemar Kletke. Emilie will be missed by her many friends and especially by her church family.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the Church of God, 45814 Lewis Ave., Chilliwack, BC. Interment in Chilliwack Cemetery.
