Elvia Marie Conroy (nee Devlin), born February 24, 1924 in Vawn, SK and died July 20, 2006 in Chilliwack, BC.
Dev raised four children, bowled, danced, sewed and embroidered. Bingo and slots kept her happy in her retirement years. She was precedeased by her husband, Gerald Richard (Bud), in 2004.
She is lovingly remembered by her four children, Bernadette (Ken) Dickie of Chilliwack, Kevin of Winnipeg, Marguerite (Mike) Hall of Quesnel, BC and Martin (Sue) of North Vancouver; her seven grandchildren: Kim (John), Charleen (Allan), Erik (Katelyn), Graham, Sean, Jackson and Lucas; five great-grandsons: Michael, Christopher, Justin, Darian, Jordan; her sisters and brothers: Louise (Bob), Ethel (SCJ), Omer (Carmie), Lloyd (Ann), and many nieces and nephews.
A mass was said at St. Mary’s Church on July 25, 2006.
She was a dear person who will be missed by her family and friends. Now she is at rest.
