Our beloved Mina, age 81 years, was called home April 5, 2012 after a lengthy illness and will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Predeceased by husband Roy; daughter, Camelia; parents, Edith and August; sister, Velma (Alvin); brothers, Harold and Ivan. Survived by daughter Simone (Dave); son-in-law Petero; grandchildren: Jillian, Bryce and Jese; brother Herbert (Helen); sisters, Joyce and Marilyn (Jack); sisters-in-law, Shirley and Gail; brother-/sister-in-law Gerard and Tilly.
Sincerest thanks to the staff at Crystal Ridge Manor: Angie Fast, her Family Nurse Practitioner; Dr. John Hamilton; and the wonderful nursing staff on the 3rd floor of Chillliwack Hospital.
A Celebration of Mina’s Life will be held at The Chilliwack Flying Club on Airport Road (next to the airport) on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 2:00PM, Henry Hooge officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank or Ducks Unlimited would be greatly appreciated.
