Passed away with her family at her side on March 22 at the age of 78 years. Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband, Robert Burleigh of Penticton; children, Janice Burleigh of Surrey, Judy (Rod) Kindred of Chilliwack, Christine Butler of Okanagan Falls, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; one sister, Georgina Dyer of Prince George and one brother, Steve Garness of Prince George. Elizabeth was sadly predeceased by her parents, Edna and Russell Garness as well as two sisters Barbara and Margret.

Funeral services will include a time of visitation 7:00pm, March 26, 2007 followed with a Memorial Service 2:00pm March 27, 2007 from the Penticton Funeral Chapel, 501 Winnipeg Street with Padre John Briscall officiating.
