BECHER; Eleanor Lydia (nee Friesen)
December 7, 1941 - June 24, 2016
A loving mother, grandmother, sister & aunt; a dear friend to many. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eleanor Becher. She passed away peacefully Friday afternoon after a year long battle with cancer. She leaves behind her son Lowell, daughter Verlane (Robert) and two adoring grandchildren Annabelle and Rosie. Eleanor was an active volunteer in her Salmon Arm community, known to always lend a helping hand. Loved for her cooking, crafting, sewing and quilting, she never missed an opportunity to contribute whatever she could. A celebration of life will be held Monday, July 11th at 1:30 pm at the Gathering Place, 350 30th St NE, Salmon Arm, BC, followed by "Eleanor's Tea Party".
