Eino Jalmar KIMMEL

October 20, 2003

Eino Kimmel late of Chilliwack and formerly of Powell River, passed away on October 20, 2003. He was born in Yeoford, Alberta and lived in the Chilliwack area for the last seven years.

Eino served overseas in the army during WWII. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #164. He loved lawn and carpet bowling, fishing, boating, travelling, playing cards and woodworking.

Eino is survived by his loving wife Rose Adrian, 5 daughters; Marguerite Morrison of Edmonton, Alberta, Maureen (Bill) Glowasky of Courtney, MaryAnne (Don White) Hayton of Qualicum Beach, Molly (Dennis Waller) White of Ladysmith, Carol Watt of Fort McMurray, Alberta, 2 brothers, Art and Frank Kimmel and 4 sisters, Ruth Petty, Ida Kangas, Taime Pleasants and Anne Stryvoke. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces nephews.

Eino was predeceased by his first wife Cassie in 1995, mother Hilma Lammi, father Hans Kimmel, brothers Helmer, Hans, Eddie and sisters Helen Kramer, Mamie Magnell and Lillian Kimmel.

He will always be remembered and loved.

A Celebration of Life tea will be held on Monday, October 27, 2003 in the tea room at Henderson’s Funeral Home between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of choice.
