Mrs. Eileen Baird (nee Ell), of Chilliwack, BC, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the age of 69 after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Eileen was born to parents Joseph and Beryl Ell on May 20th, 1948 in Black's Harbour NB.
She loved her family especially her grandchildren, her face always lit up when she spent time with them. Even in the end her concerns were more for those she loved than herself. She was a very humble and proud person. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all she knew, she will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband William (Bill) Baird, her children Kevin Skalicky (Rosie), Mike Skalicky, Joey Baird (Brandi), 9 grandchildren (Kolby, Megan, Adam, Luc, Carysa, Elijah, Joshua, Brooklyn and Jaidyn), 6 sisters (Lorraine Reglin (Rudy), Diane Dayton, Shirley Lynch (Derek), Beryl Kemp (Doug), Edna Ell (Phil) and Donna Finch (Robyn), and 5 brothers Ken Ell (Joan), Steve Ell (Colleen), John Ell (Lana), Ed Ell (Maxine) and David Ell (Theresa) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Beryl Ell.
A memorial will take place Sunday February 18th, 3 pm at the Chilliwack Anavets, #305, 46268 Yale Road Chilliwack BC.
