Edwin Knodel passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2004 at Chilliwack General Hospital at age 89 years. He was born November 14,1914 at Schuler, Alta.
Ed is survived by his sister, Ella Beck, Medicine Hat, AB; cousin, Walter Knodel, Medicine Hat, AB; and nephew, Ken Garden, Surrey, BC.
He was predeceased by his wife, Jean in 1978, his mother, Emma in 1976, father, Ludwig in 1977, and sister, Alma in 1985.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2004 at 2:30 pm from Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 7087 MacDonald Rd. Agassiz, BC. W.D. Thomas officiating.
Ed moved to New York State with his parents in 1926, returning in 1928 and eventually took a course of mechanics. He operated his own garage for 27 years. Ed was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1940 in the Old Man River, and faithfully served his creator until his death.
