Edwin DUNLOP

June 12, 2014

Dunlop, Edwin (Ed) James. Sept 14, 1952 - June 12, 2014. It is with a broken heart I announce the passing of my husband and best friend at the young age of 61 years, after losing his battle with cancer. Ed was born in Rossland, BC on September 14, 1952. He was predeceased by daughter Katrina and mother Irene. He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie of Chilliwack, son Darren (Michelle), grandsons Michael and Austin, step granddaughters Alyssa and Kaitlyn of Edmonton, sister Kay (Gordon) of Langley, father Jim, two aunts, several nephews and nieces, several cousins and several great nieces and nephew. Ed has been a Paramedic for 28 years, starting in Rossland and continuing as full time Paramedic in Vancouver Post in 1999 ending in Chilliwack. He was a volunteer fireman for 13 years in Rossland. He was a diligent and proud blood donor. There will be a celebration of his life on July 5, 2014 at 45530 Spadina Ave. in Chilliwack at the Landing Sports Centre Loft Room from 1 - 3pm. In lieu of flowers, a special account has been set up at TD Bank by Bonnie Dunlop in memory of Ed Dunlop. All proceeds will go towards purchasing much needed equipment for Cascade Hospice in Chilliwack. Please contact Rob Coghill at 1-604-751-1465 for details on how to donate.
