Edward Anthony Rogozinsky

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Edward Anthony Rogozinsky, at Chilliwack Hospital on August 27, 2019. Father to daughter Marisa and son Brent, Grandfather to Shandy and Dustin, and Great-grandfather to Dylan.
Brother to sisters Emily and Toni (Dennis), and to Dave (Marilyn). Uncle to Brent (Gail) andMarilyn; Colleen (Don) and Ryan (Laurie); and to Chad and Lance. Great-Uncle to Codi (Kevin), Justin and Brandon; Kaylee; and Hayley. Great-great uncle to Oliver and Thomas. Step-dad to Keith (Donna), Shelli, and Grant.
Step-grandfather to Jesse (Nicole), Tyler and Scott; and to Ryan and Jenna. Step great-grandfather to Madison and Summer. "Adopted Dad" to Brenda and Tony.
Ed was born in Rosthern, Sask. on November 29, 1928 to parents Walter and Rosie, and later moved to Saskatoon with his family.
He had many adventures as he traveled the world in his first occupation as a rigger on merchant ships. He married Jan Anderson in 1956, and after 16 years of living in New Zealand, where his children were born, he and his family moved back to Canada, where he continued to work as a journeyman cabinet maker. In 1990 he married Delores MacDonald (deceased in 2006).
Ed enjoyed travelling, golfing, doing carpentry, watching sports, and visiting with friends and family.
Ed was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle, and a faithful and caring friend. He will be missed deeply for the way he touched every soul he met through his lifetime.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Fraser Room at the Coast Hotel in Chilliwack, at 1:30 pm on Sunday, September 22, 2019.
