Edna (McBeth) St. Amour
February 24, 1930 - January 9, 2017
Edna St. Amour went to be with the Lord January 9th, 2017. She was 86 years old. Edna was born in Calgary, Alberta, on February 24th, 1930.She came to British Columbia in the 1940's with her family. Edna was a spunky, energetic and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew her. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren and her great-grandchildren and was an influence and blessing to them all. She loved playing cards; dancing with her grandsons; and knitting outfits for her grandchildren.
Edna married Noel St. Amour and they lived on their hobby farm in Chilliwack, BC for ten years. They moved to Vancouver Island to their much loved home on the ocean near Miracle Beach. Together they enjoyed beach combing, gardening and fishing with their many friends. One of her favourite memories was when she accompanied her husband in their recreational vehicle driving across parts of Canada and the United States. Edna is predeceased by her loving husband, Noel. She is survived by her sister Barbara, daughters Debra (Dean) and Renee (Wayne), her grandchildren Marco, Mathew (Kaylee), Lyje (Laurie), Utah, Chalice (Nik) and her seven great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Edna St. Amour's life will be held on Friday February 24th at 1:00pm at Potter's House Church, 45915 Yates Ave, Chilliwack, BC V2P 3H3.
