April 8, 1924 – March 5, 2010

Edith was predeceased by her husband Ingi Borgford, brother David McNichol, sisters Ethel Tien and Maude Menzies.

She is survived by her sisters Pat (Alice) Price, Ev Godfrey and her brother Jerome (Mac) McNichol.

She is also survived by her four children Ellen Adam, Jim (Jane) Adam, Don (Val) Adam and Frances (Brian) Bulger, 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Edith was born in Nokomis, Sask. Daughter of Louis John McNichol and Lalia (Chesley) McNichol. She grew up in Saskatchewan, then served in the WRC Air Force during world war II. After the war she returned to Saskatchewan.

Edith and Ingi moved with their family to Chilliwack in 1965 where she has resided till her death from cancer.

Edith was active in the community having been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, United Church Merry Macs, and was involved for many years in making cancer dressings, she also drove many of her friends to countless events, which she loved to do.

Edith was an avid sports fan, who loved nothing better than to watch her children & grandchildren as they participated.

A special thank you is extended to her physician Dr. Bright and Chilliwack Home Care for their kindness and support during Mom’s illness.

A memorial service will be held for Edith on March 25th, at 10:00 am, at the Chilliwack United Church 45835 Spadina Ave., Chilliwack, B.C.
