Earl Patrick Meahan passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015 at the Cascades Hospice at the age of 73. He was born on March 13, 1941 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Earl is survived by his loving wife Madeline (of 47 years), his sons; Steven, Bradley (Melissa nee MacDonald) and Derrick. As well as his grandchildren; Michaela, Braedyn and Haedyn; nephews, Darrell and Darren Knapp and nieces; Connie Ellis and Michelle Knapp. He was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Lavina Meahan, Dennis and Patricia (nee Meahan) Knapp. Earl has a very special place in the hearts of his family and friends and was always quick with a wink and a joke. He was a long time resident of Surrey (1950-2004) who retired to Chilliwack after working for Pirelli Cables for over two decades. He had a great love of animals and was a member of the Western Pheasant and Waterfowl Society. He was also a long time member of the Legion.
