April 17, 2024

With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to Dylan Alexander MacGregor, age 48. Dylan was born and raised in Chilliwack, BC. He attended High Road Academy and Chilliwack Secondary School.

Dylan was a shy and sensitive soul. He was patient and kind. He loved animals, especially cats. He was always up for a repair/building project if called on by friends and family. Dylan had a passion for cooking and made the best turkey stuffing. He loved music and was an avid ACDC fan.

Many friends and family will remember Rockband sessions with Dylan singing. Other interests included snowboarding, camping, gardening, and travel.

Dylan worked tirelessly to become a successful self-taught carpenter. He was immensely proud of his working achievements. Anyone that knew him would attest to his meticulous standards and microscopic attention to detail.

Sadly, at the end of Dylan's life, he was tortured in physical and psychological pain. His family are all so grateful on April 17, 2024, when he took his last breath, he was carried away in the arms of the Lord and is no longer suffering.

Family would like to give thanks to his closest friends who supported him through thick and thin.

Dylan leaves behind two sets of parents that loved him beyond measure. Gordon MacGregor (Jacqueline) and Connie Yewchan (Floyd). Goodbye beautiful son.

His four brothers will miss him forever and hold him in their hearts. Older brother; greatest friend and protector, Stewart MacGregor (Michelle). Nephews, James and Owen.

His younger brothers who adored him, Duncan MacGregor, Kyle MacGregor (Luke) and Ian MacGregor (Josie). Dylan's grandmother, Ellen MacGregor, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family near and far that loved Dylan unconditionally.

A private celebration of life will take place per family request. In lieu of flowers, if you are so inclined, donations to Ruth and Naomi's Mission in Chilliwack or Wagner Hills in Langley in Dylan's name would be very much appreciated.

Messages can be left on Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home's website.
