September 30, 1939 - April 20, 2019
Douglas John Linn, passed away peacefully April 20, 2019 at the Chilliwack General Hospital in Chilliwack B.C. He was born on September 30, 1939 in Belleville, Ontario to Leslie Sydney Linn and Audrey Viola Linn (Sproule).
He is survived by his son Michael Christopher Linn, daughter-in-law Marthe Benoit, daughter Samantha Hallgren (Linn), son in law Michael Scott Hallgren, 5 beautiful grandchildren Avery Stephanie Linn, Lauren Anne Linn, Aiden Per Hallgren, Jaxon Tyr Hallgren and Ryker Leif Hallgren.
He had a true love and gift for life, art, writing and radio. His greatest passion was always to make others laugh and he had a personality that was larger than life that could light up a room.
We are so grateful for the care love and support from the nurses and doctors at the Chilliwack General Hospital for supporting our father on a peaceful and comfortable journey to End-of-Life. A special thank you to Dr. Richard Smith who provided our father with exceptional care throughout his last years. You will be missed Dad.
