It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Grammy at Chilliwack General Hospital on November 23, 2018.
Dorthea (Dot) was born near Gladmar, Sask in 1922. In 1945 she moved to BC following training for a nurse. She began working at Chilliwack General Hospital and worked for many years on the maternity ward.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, George, in May 1991, and her brothers Harris and Eldon. She is survived by her children, Doug (Barb) and Phyllis (Jim). Grandchildren, Steve (Sherri), Leanne (Rodger), Scott and Theresa (Mike). Great grandchildren, Devin, Kiana, Brett, Madi, Cole, Bradley, Dylan, Roxanne, Nicholas and Amber. Sisters, Irene, Lorraine, Eve, and Merilyn (Arnie) and extended family and many friends.
There will be no service at this time but a celebration of life will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Chilliwack General Hospital in Dorthea's name.
