With great sadness, the family announces the death of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother after a lengthy illness.
Born January 10, 1922 in New Osgoode, Saskatchewan, Dorothy passed away peacefully on March 22, 2011 in Chilliwack, British Columbia.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth; daughter, Jean and son-in-law Kurt. She is survived by her sons, Donald (Carol), Bruce (Ann) and John (Beverley); son-in-law, Russell Armstrong; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and good friends.
Dorothy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 44 years.
Her memory will be cherished always.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 1:30 from the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave., Chilliwack.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 25, 2011 from 7-9 pm at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home.
If so desired, memorial donations may be made in Dorothy’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
