Dorothy passed away peacefully at Whitecliffe Residence on September 7, 2021, at age 94.
Born at home, Christmas Day, 1926, in Maple Creek Saskatchewan, the second youngest of 8 children.
Survived by her sister Joyce Allen, and many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy taught school most of her life, first at Lillooet, B.C., then Kimberly, B.C., and finally at Chilliwack (Junior Secondary) school.
Although she taught English, and Physical Education, her passion was Fine Art, and the joy of nature. Her gardens seemed always in bloom.
Funeral services will be held at Carman United Church, in Sardis B.C. on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 1 pm.
