Dorothy Nan Kostrzewa passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Dorothy is survived by her husband Richard; daughter, Karen and son-in-law Len; son, Richard and daughter- in-law Margaret; and her grandchildren: Stephanie and Richard. Dorothy was born in Chilliwack where she spent her life devoted to making the city she loved a better place to live. She served on council for 31 years and her achievements and awards are far too numerous to list. She was truly a special lady. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to those in the community, the City of Chilliwack and all her friends for their kind words. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff in the CSICU at the Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, her physician Doctor Scott Markey, Doctor Elliot Chum and all of the many nurses and medical staff for their loving care. She was deeply loved and will always have a place in our heart. Dorothy was laid to rest at a private family service.
