With great sadness we announce the passing of our mother Dorothy Florence Oram. Loving wife of the late Henry John Oram for 63 years who passed away on November 7, 2007.
Mom died peacefully in her sleep with family present at Chilliwack Hospital.
Mom will be missed by her many friends and daughters Eunice Hillary and Paul of Ille Perrot, Quebec, Daphne and Doug Hodgson of Welland, Ontario; sons: John Oram and Judy of Ferndale, Washington, Ivor Oram and Shirley of
Toronto Ontario; her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends of B.C, Ontario and Quebec.
She was predeceased by her grandchild, Christine Deslaurier, in 1992.
Our family would like to thank the nursing staff at The Chilliwack Hospital, The Veterans Association and members of St. Thomas Anglican Church and many workers and friends that assisted our Mother in maintaining her cherished independent lifestyle.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m., at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 46048 Gore Ave, Chilliwack B.C V2P 1Z6.
