Nov 10, 2017
With great sadness, the family announces the passing of Doris Weeks on November 10, 2017, in her 94th year. Doris was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed.

Doris served in WWII in the British Airforce and came to Canada as a war bride in 1946. Doris was the first female president of the Chilliwack Legion, and she completed countless hours of community service, which she dearly loved.

Doris is survived by her brother, Maurice Cozens, and numerous other relatives in England; her three daughters, Wendy (Don) Brunner, Dene Senft, and Sandi Williams; as well as her seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Dr. Bakker and all the caregivers at Heritage Village for their care and compassion. Per her wishes, Doris has been cremated and will be laid to rest in the Legion Cemetery with her fellow comrades.

The funeral will take place at 1:00 pm Friday, December 1, 2017 at Henderson's Funeral Home, Chilliwack.
