Doris Elizabeth (Betty) Scott (Schacker)
Born August 15, 1927 in Sceptre, Saskatchewan. Betty went to be with Jesus Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the age of 86. Betty was predeceased by her husband Larry. She is survived by her daughter Judy Piening (Henry) of Abbotsford, BC, son Glenn Scott (Anita) of St. Catharines, ON, granddaughter Chelan Liesch of Burnaby, BC, grandson Matthew Scott of St. Catharines, ON, granddaughter Meghan Scott of Cambridge, ON, granddaughter Vanessa Lepp of St. Catharines ON, and great-granddaughter Ashlin Rainbow of Montreal, Quebec. Betty is also survived by her sister Nancy McTavish (Mac) of Victoria, BC, sister Helen McTavish (Ray) of Agassiz, BC, sister Freddie Norland of Blaine, WA, brother Harvey White (Erlene) of Calgary, AB, brother Ralph White (Kathy) of Cloverdale, BC, and predeceased by Gordon White (Bernice) of Winnipeg, MB.
A memorial luncheon will be held at Northview Community Church in Center Court, 32040 Downes Road, Abbotsford, BC at 11:30 am on Thursday, February 13, 2014. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your local food bank.
