MAY, Doris
July 18th, 1923 - July 25, 2015
Doris passed peacefully on July 25th, 2015 in Ladysmith, BC surrounded by loving family. Doris was born in Widnes Lancashire, England to Thomas Evans and Amy Harrison. She was predeceased by her 1st love, George Stott in 1953 who lost his life due to complications from the second world war. She moved to Canada in September 1963 to support her 2nd husband, Douglas May who was working on a whaling boat in Coal Harbour. She brought with her 3 sons, Graham and Terrance Stott and Douglas May to build a life in BC. Doris found a career and work family in Chilliwack, BC at Fraser Vale until they closed their doors in 1982.
The family would like to thank Adel and Ron Lind for all the support, love and caring that they gave in her last years. She is deeply missed by family and friends.
