Doris Annabelle Young passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at Chilliwack General Hospital at age 78 years. She was born in Kamloops, BC in 1927. Doris is survived by her daughter Carol Anne and her sons Don (Evangelina) and Bob (Debbie) and 5 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband James Stanley Young and her brothers, Kenneth and Frank Brownlee.
Doris was a successful and respected realtor for many years. The onset of Rheumatoid Arthritis ended her career prematurely.
A Memorial Tea was held on Sunday, January 8, 2006 at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, Chilliwack.
If family and friends so desire, memorial donations may be directed to the Arthritis Society of BC in Doris’ name.
