Polly passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on January 19, 2009 at the Chilliwack General Hospital, at the age of 70 years. She was born in 1938 in Haney, BC.
Polly always had a smile on her face and loved to have a good laugh. She loved music and played the accordian. She also sang and enjoyed a good jam session with her musical friends.
Polly was predeceased by her mother Ceila Carlson, father Gus Carlson, aunts Sarah Kienan and Sophie Gardener, sisters, Shirley Downing and Matilda Grigg.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Henry;
children: Carol, Bobby (Michele) and Brenda; granddaughters: Michell, Larissa, Lindsay, Sasha and Carla; sister, Mary (Lawrence) Noel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 1:00 pm, Chilliwack Cemeteries (Little Mountain).
Lunch to follow at the Rosedale United Church Hall.
