Born and raised in Alberta, Donna brought much joy and love to her family and friends. She will be remembered by her strength of character and her warm smile. She had a vibrant personality, boundless energy and an empathetic nature. Donna had a great sense of humour and enjoyed spending her time gardening, decorating and finding a good bargain. Donna’s personal and professional life was characterized by her compassion for others. She played a significant role in assisting and caring for others in the healthcare profession initally as a registered nurse and later, as a leader in healthcare provisioning.
Donna passed away suddenly on April 21st. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband Brian, son Sandy, daughter Shannon, step-sons Gordon and Jason and granchildren: Chrystal, Amanda, Wacy, Tiffany, Jordi, Jesse, Alex, Donald and Jessica.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 30th at 11:30 a.m. at Evergreen Hall, Cheam Room, 9291 Corbould St., Chilliwack B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society would be appreciated.
