Donald Tonn

Donald Tonn passed away in Chilliwack, British Columbia on July 28th, 2021, at the age of 83.
Born March 26, 1938, in Plumas, Manitoba, he was one of eight children born to Adolf and Barbara Tonn.
Donald is predeceased by his wife, Lorraine Tonn (Nee Nelson), and is survived by his daughter, Nicole.
Donald spent his formative years in Chilliwack, BC until moving with his wife to Prince George in 1975. Donald returned to Chilliwack in 2018 after the passing of his wife. His final years were spent in the company of his good friend Gus, with whom he enjoyed road trips, fishing, and exploring the lower mainland.
Donald was known in his community to be generous of his time, spirit, and craft. He laughed easily and often, was playful of spirit, and always enjoyed a good tease and joke. His loss will be deeply felt by many.
A celebration of Don's life will be held at Lion's Hall in Chilliwack, BC on Sept. 26, 2021 at 1 pm.
