Donald Robinson


It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donald Robinson, born in 1936. He leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Patricia Robinson, son Eldon Robinson (Nancy), daughter Sheryl Robinson (Colin), grandson Dustin Robinson (Kirby), granddaughter Brittany Christensen and one great granddaughter Gemma Robinson. He is also survived by Melvin (Doreen), Gerald (Wendy), Darlene (Miles) and Doreen (Pete). He is predeceased by his brothers Ted (Mary), Edward (Karleen) and Roger (Elizabeth), and sisters Dot (Leslie) Cecelia (Lee), Brenda, Glenda and Gladys (Earl) as well as many nieces and nephews. Don was born in Fort Saskatchewan to Edward and Georgina Robinson. He moved with his family to Sinclair Mills in 1951 and then to Prince George where he lived until 1995. Don worked at Carrier Lumber most of his working life. The last years of his life he lived in Chilliwack where he loved to play crib two nights a week and by far his favorite highlight of the week was Friday night darts, Don was loved everywhere he went as he was known as a fun-loving kind of guy. Everywhere he went he had everyone laughing. Memorial Service Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM 45918 Knight Road, Chilliwack, BC and in Prince George, BC on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at 663 Douglas Street, Prince George, BC.
