LARSON; Donald Helmer
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Don "Spud" Larson on October 20, 2016 at the age of 77 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan. Don is survived by his wife Ruth, daughter Tana (Paul, Lindsay), son Todd (Amy, Ava), brother Harold (Elaine), and his sisters Alfield (George) and Solvei (Larry). He was predeceased by his brother Leif (Lorraine). Growing up Don loved playing baseball and was known as the "man with the golden arm" because of his pitching abilities. Don also loved curling and playing golf. A memorial service will be held November 4th 2016 at 1pm at the Chilliwack United Church, 45835 Spadina Ave, Chilliwack. Memorial donations may be made to the Chilliwack Curling Club.
