A lifetime resident of Chilliwack, Don passed away suddenly. Wearing his trademark cowboy hat and riding his electric scooter, Don was a familiar sight in Chilliwack.
Predeceased by sisters Frieda (Ted) Aldcroft, Edith Ross and Verna (Alvin) Born, he is survived by his wife Sheila Hildebrand and four sisters: Shirley (David) Hsu, Frances (Peter) Reinke, Ruth (Bill) Reimer, and Grace Jones, nephew Paul Born and nieces Stephanie Campbell, Gwyneth Reinke, Lynette Reimer, Kaleigh Mahoney, Carla Goertzen, Melanie Jones, and Amy Rosvold, and many cousins.
