Donald Edward Jr. Hall

Don passed away peacefully, in the early morning hours of June 25, 2019, with his wife Lois of 42 years by his side.
Don was born to Donald and Geraldine Hall in Chilliwack, BC on March 25, 1935.
As a child he attended Residential School in Port Alberni, BC and then at age 12 travelled with his mother and sisters Ethel and Muriel, living in both Alberta and Saskatchewan.
At 14, he returned to the Chilliwack area to begin a career in the logging industry working his way up to becoming a full-time faller. After leaving logging, Don worked for the Cultus Lake Park Board for over 10 years. Having mastered many trades, Don was able to apply his knowledge and share it generously with his coworkers. Retirement allowed Don to enjoy years of hunting, fishing, camping, quadding and hiking the mountains he so loved.
Don was predeceased by his father, Donald Hall, Sr., his mother, Geraldine, and his son James Donald Hall. He leaves behind his loving wife Lois, daughter Cindy (Duncan), grandchildren Donald, Charlie (Nadine), Sara (Peter), Rebecca (Graham), and his great grandchildren Jacqualyn, Jaimie, and Jessie; as well as brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, an aunt and many cousins. Don also left a deep impression in the hearts of Jacqueline Tait, Denise Kelly and Rick, Brandy and Shane Jessome as well as many others.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Tzeachten Hall, Chilliwack on August 8th, at 10:00 a.m. An open mic will be available for you to share stories and memories.
