Mr. Donald Bruce Pachenski (Lockwood) late of Agassiz, passed away in Chilliwack on January 7, 2006 at the age of 50 years. He was born in Nipawin, Saskatchewan on March 4, 1955 and had lived in this area for 16 years.
Bruce worked for Corrections Canada for 25 years, loved to watch hockey and have barbecues with his family. As of the last 2 years he worked for Whitehouse RV and loved spending time with his grandson.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Lexie of 30 years and daughters Aryn Kennedy, Penny Pachenski and two son-in-laws; Kraig Kennedy and Duane Wheeler, grandson Cole Kennedy. He is also survived by his mother Zae Robertson and Ben Pachenski; brother Barrie (Corey) Pachenski and two nephews; Brett and Blake Pachenski and all of his special family in Nipawin, Saskatchewan, the Lockwoods. He is also survived by other close family and friends. A special thank you to Dr. J. Chahal and John Dykstra and family. Bruce was predeceased by his father Bill Lockwood.
A graveside Committal Service of remains will be held on Friday, January 13, 2006 at 10:30 am at Valleyview Gardens Cemetery in Agassiz with Father Gerry Guillet celebrant. Donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
