Dona Rosina Lilly

Dona Rosina Lilly Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on August 31, 2019 in Chilliwack, BC.
Mom was born December 10, 1949 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. She is survived by her siblings Judy, Michael, Linda, and Jackie; her sons Jake and Sam; her grandchildren Nayelli, Greyson, and Aria; nieces and nephews Katy, Lucas, Jillian, Melinda, Mark, Heather, Leevi, and Michelle. She is predeceased by her daughters Rebecca and Laina, her parents Freda and Eric Clamp, and her many pet friends over the years.
Mom graduated from the Medical Office Assistant program at Vancouver Community College in 1989. She ran the office of a doctor's practice in Chilliwack for 13 years. Prior to that she was with the Strathcona Mental Health team in Vancouver. Mom proudly highlighted her work helping form Vancouver Rape Relief in the 1970's and was a strong supporter of women's rights.
Mom was an avid reader who also enjoyed storytelling, writing, public speaking, singing, knitting, sewing, crotchet, was a belly dancer and instructor. Above all she was a proud and incredible mom.
A celebration of life will be held for mom at the Little Mountain Meadows Clubhouse 9855 Quarry Road on Saturday September 7th, 2019 at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in Dona's name to Ann Davis Transition House.
