Don was born in Saskatoon, Sask. on August 16, 1938. He moved to Richmond and then moved to Chilliwack where he resided until his passing October 7, 2002.
His passion for life was classical music and the opera.
He was predeceased by his father John; and two sisters.
He leaves to mourn, his mother Mary; his sister Fay; and brothers-in-laws. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and friends that loved and cared about him.
He also leaves his dear friend who has stood by him for three years and helped him each day, Ramond Mason. I know Don was touched by all the care and support you gave him, God’s blessing be yours.
He also had a special friend, his cat Tiggy for 15 years.
His passing leaves us with great sorrow. But we rejoice because he leaves the pain of a body filled with cancer. And now he has a new body with his Lord.
Don as we say farewell to you dear friend we trust that you will be waiting for us in heaven.
There will be a memorial for Don at the home of Roy Wright, #205-45823 Victoria Ave., at 3 p.m., October 19, 2002, call 604-793-6603.
Instead of flowers we will take an offering. He loved roses so we will be planting some where he lived by the river.
