Divina Bismanos Nelmes, late of Chilliwack, B.C. passed away June 22, 2006 at the age of 40. She was born November 21, 1965 in Agusan Del Sur, Philippines and had lived in this area for 8 years.
Divina was employed by the Chilliwack Society for Community Living as a support worker.
Cremation will take place at Henderson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium. Cremated Remains will be returned to the Philippines for a family service.
She is survived by her husband Edgar (Ted) Nelmes of Chilliwack; mother Rufa Bismanos, father Dominador Bismanos Jr., brother Donald (wife Adelfa), sister Delia Bismanos, niece Kisha Carizze Bismanos (KC), nephew Kirby Jan (BJ), all of the Philippines; many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends throughout the world.
She will be sadly missed by the numerous members of the Nelmes family in Chilliwack and throughout B.C. Also, by her workplace group of friends at Jasper House and CSCL.
An Open house for famly and friends will be held Wed., July 5 at the Nelmes residence, #84-8590 Sunrise Drive, from 2-7pm.
