It has pleased the Lord to take from our side our beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, Dingena Pannekoek-Verhoek.
Born August 23, 1925 in Bruinisse, Holland, she moved to Chilliwack with her family in 1970, where her late husband was a pastor for nine months before he died.
She lived with most of her children in Chilliwack, until September 2011, when she moved to “Cheam Village” in Agassiz, B.C. where she was lovingly surrounded by her children every day, and the caring staff of Cheam Village, until she passed away September 4 2012.
Predeceased by her husband in Jan. 1971, the late Rev. J. Pannekoek, her one sister and one brother both of the Netherlands.
She is survived by her children, Mien and Joop Wisse-Pannekoek, Dien and Wim Neels-Pannekoek, Adrie and Gerard Neels-Pannekoek, Jo and Jan Neels-Pannekoek, Arie and Tine Pannekoek-VandenBosch, Kees and Anne-Marie Pannekoek-de Kraker, Jan and Nancy Pannekoek-Hubregtse, Cobi and Jack Neels-Pannekoek, Leni and Bram Klaassen-Pannekoek, Piet Pannekoek all of Chillwack, Cor and Arita Pannekoek-Van Ginkel of Woodstock, Ontario: 65 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, in Chilliwack. Also survived by two brothers and three sisters in the Netherlands. Funeral services for our mother are Tuesday September 11, 2012 at 11 o’clock in the Reformed Congregation of North America, Chilliwack, by Rev. A.Geuze of Chillwack. Interment to follow at Chilliwack Cemeteries, in Chilliwack, B.C.
