August 14, 1940 - February 3, 2021
Dianne Yorston passed peacefully on February 3rd with her husband of 60 years marriage, Gerald, by her side. She was born in Vancouver, BC to Peter and Evelyn Kaayk.
While living in Abbotsford she had a long career with ICBC and raised three sons who spent many years active in sports with her constant support. She loved to travel and entertain. In her retirement years she spent many winters in Arizona enjoying the warm weather, golfing and hosting dinner parties with friends and family.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother dedicated to her family. Her love and care extended to her; nephews, nieces, cousins and life long circle of friends. Her husband Gerry always said she was the love of his life. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gerald; children Gregory (Elaine), David (Kristen), Brian (Michele); grandchildren, Leah Ferguson (Joshua), Bethany Dorsey (Brandon), Erin, Sarah, Matthew, Cole, Cade, Avery; great grandson Owen; sister Janis; and like a grandmother to her nephews Peter, Devin and Tyler. She is predeceased by her brother Peter and sister Linda.
A celebration of life will be planned for a future date.
