Dennis Joseph DeMare passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 24th, 2009 at Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 60 years.
Dennis is lovingly remembered by his wife Sherry DeMare; his children, Darryll (Lisa Covey) DeMare, Kimberlee (Jason) Stelmaschuk and Lance DeMare; grandchildren Bradlee and Nicholas Stelmaschuk and step-children, Morgan, Jordan and Nathan Mayes. He was sadly predeceased by his former wife, Marleen DeMare.
Dennis was a welder at Pipco Industrial Supplies for many years and also had a fencing business with his eldest son, Darryll. He will be remembered happily by his family and friends as a loyal, hardworking, generous, wise, helpful, kind, strong, supportive man with an awesome sense of humour.
He enjoyed spending time with his wife Sherry, family gatherings listening to informative CD’s, reading non-fiction books, shopping and long drives. He enjoyed going to church and found fulfillment in helping others.
