Delbert Dorlie Johnson passed away very suddenly on the morning of September 8, 2017, at home in Abbotsford, where he lived with his wife of 15 years, Pat Huston.

Del was born August 15, 1927, to Russell Thomas and Elsie (nee Lueck) Johnson, of Kendal, SK.

Del was a twin to brother Darrell West and Gertrude (Kunkel) Johnson of Saskatoon, SK. Del married Lois Grogan of

Treherne MB, on July 3, 1948. They lived in Flin Flon MB until 1975. During that time Del worked as a machinist for the Hudson Bay Mining And Smelting Company until 1963, when they purchased the Preston and Johnson Jewelry Store.

Lois was a teacher and store bookkeeper until the selling of their business in 1974. In 1975 they moved to Chilliwack BC where Del was the manager of OB Allan jewellers.

Del and Lois shared 39 years together, enjoying travelling, entertaining and spending time with family and relatives. Lois passed away in 1987.

Del met Pat Huston on a bus trip to Branson in 2001 and they married in 2002. Pat and Del enjoyed each other's company and travelled all over the world during their years together.

Pat and Del also played bridge regularly, visited friends and family, attended Flin Flon luncheons and Hole-in-the-wall dinners. Del was a retired member of the Chilliwack Rotary Club.

Del was predeceased by his first wife Lois, his parents, sister Ruth (Jack Illingsworth), and brothers Orlie (Marjorie Lions), and Homer (Ann Hollidon).

Del leaves behind to mourn and miss dearly his second wife Pat Huston of Abbotsford BC and her entire family; his twin brother Darryl and wife Gertrude Johnson of Saskatoon SK; 46 nieces and nephews, plus great and great great nieces and nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.

A wake will be held on Saturday, September 30, from 2-5 p.m. at Sneakers Lounge, 2550 Yale Court, Abbotsford,
