David Wemyss Dickson, late of Chilliwack, B.C. passed away June 15, 2005 in Chilliwack at the age of 92 years. He was born March 2, 1913 in Saskatchewan.
He farmed in Wiseton, Saskatchewan for many years before moving to Deroche where he was the proprietor of a summer resort for several years. Upon retiring he made his home in Chilliwack.
Visitation will take place at Henderson’s Sunday evening, June 19th, 2005 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home on Monday, June 20, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Doug Ireland officiating. Interment in Hatzic Cemetery, Mission, B.C.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rachel; Gail (Stan) of Princeton; Garry Dickson of Princeton; Debbie (Gordon) of Surrey; daughter-in-law, Bea Dickson of Surrey; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by 2 sisters, Esther Johnston of Saskatoon, Sask.; Kay Anderson of Creston, B.C. and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his first wife, Jean; son, David and daughter-in-law, Lorraine.
