It is with great sadness that the Biggs family announces Dave’s sudden passing at home on November 20, 2009.
David was born in Surrey, B.C. on October 14, 1961, the youngest son of Florence Searcy and the late Lorne Biggs. He was active in his church community and a social activist in Vancouver, where he’d resided the past 20 years. He will be missed by dear friends at the Green Cross Society where he was the Member Services Coordinator, as well as his many friends at Sunset Towers.
Predeceased by grandparents, Leo and Leona Hammond, Ivy and Fred Biggs, his father Lorne Biggs and stepfather Edwin Searcy. He is survived by mother, Flo Searcy, siblings, Joanne (Colin) Maxwell, Karen Stromgren, Keith (Vicki) Biggs and their families.
A Celebration of Life to be held 11:00am, November 27, 2009 at Green Cross Society, Vancouver, BC. Henderson’s Funeral Home, Abbotsford in care of arrangements.
