David passed away surrounded by the love of his family.
David was born and raised in Calgary, with his siblings, Judy (Jim), Jill (Peter) and Scott (Karen). Dave married the love of his life, Janie, and had three daughters Darci-Jane (David), Corinne (Thomas) and Joscelyn.
The family lived in Victoria, where they had many great adventures together. Dad owned and developed many businesses throughout his career, but his greatest triumph was the completion of his dream cabin on Pender Island.
In the 90s David and Janie moved to a hobby farm in Duncan, BC. In 2000, Dad took on his favourite role in life, Papa. Dad had five incredible grandchildren Daniel, Braelyn, Kyuss, Brennan and Joia.
Dave, Papa, Dad, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend is reunited with his parents (Viny and Mac), and Janie's parents (Charlie and Vi), family and friends.
Thanks to the wonderful team at Cascade for taking care of Papa. In Dad's honour, do something that brings you joy. A celebration of life will be held in October.
