Teschke; Darryl Dennis
April 15, 1949 - January 6, 2015
On January 6, Darryl was unexpectedly taken from his family in a tree falling accident at the age of 65 years.
He leaves behind his wife Heather; sons, Ian (Lisa), Mike (Elaine); daughter, Karen; grandchildren, Liam, Adria and Cohen Teschke, Madeleine Teschke and Hudson Poittris. He is also survived by his mother, Lorraine Teschke; siblings, Arlene Currie, Lauretta (Jim) Lumsden, Sandra (Robert) Richards, Ken Teschke as well as many nieces and nephews. Darryl was raised in the Columbia Valley. He spent his whole life working outdoors in the forest logging industry mostly as a Certified Faller and first aid attendant. He loved the outdoors, his hobbies included hunting, fishing and song writing. There will be a celebration of Darryl's life on Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 1 - 4pm at the Columbia Valley Community Centre, 1202 Kosikar Road (In Columbia Valley just past Cultus Lake).
