Darlene Nashkewa passed away suddenly on Friday, April 23, 2004. She was born October 29, 1955 in Campbell River, BC.
Darlene is survived by her loving husband Gerri; mother, Blanche Thompson; sister, Sharon (Bob) Gordon; brothers, Garry (Jeanette), Eldon (Stephanie) and Rick (Pauline), countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her father, Les Thompson and sister, Debbie Knudson predeceased her.
Darlene was a shining star in many people’s lives, both within the family and her large circle of friends. She will be sorely missed as she enriched the lives of everyone who had the chance to know her.
There will be a Memorial Service on Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at 1:30 pm from the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave, Chilliwack, BC, Reverend Robert Evans officiating. A Viewing for family and friends will begin at 12:30 pm at the Chapel.
