DODDRIDGE; Darlene Faye. (nee Seigel)
It is with great sadness that the family of Darlene Faye Doddridge announces her peaceful passing to her eternal life with her Lord and Saviour, October 12, 2013. Darlene was born in Edmonton, Alberta September 23, 1942 to Bert and Lillian Siegel. She grew up on a farm in Viking, Alberta with her parents and two sisters Dolores and Donna. In her early twenty's she moved out to Chilliwack, BC where she met and married Ernie Doddridge. Darlene's true passions were fishing with Ernie and friends, bingo, knitting and baking. Darlene is predeceased by her mother Lillian, father Bert and sister Dolores. She is survived by her son Robert Buit (Lorraine), granddaughter Cassandra, great granddaughter Falyn and sister Donna (Ed). She is predeceased by her husband Ernie, stepdaughter Lynn, stepson David and survived by her stepchildren Barry (Lorraine), Debbie, Donna, Bob (Marian), numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all her cousins and many good friends. By Darlene's request, there will be no funeral service.
