Dan Clarke of Calgary, AB, passed away on February 23, 2017 at the age of 59 years. Dan is survived by his loving family, Cheryl Clarke, Michael Clarke, Jessi Stevenson (Dave), Ryan Clarke as well as siblings, Marilyn Melville, JoAnne Williams (Allon), Robert Begg (Lisa) and Ed Begg, nephews & nieces, Laine, Steven, Brandon, Hollie, RJ and Yvette. Dan was predeceased by his parents, Joe Clarke and Mary (Clarke) Begg. Dan was born and raised in Chilliwack, BC. He came to Alberta to work in the oil industry. He met Cheryl in Edmonton and they married in 1980. Dan began working in the trucking industry in 1981, with Kenbrent Refrigerated Express. He was blessed with three children Mike, Jessi and Ryan. He opened his own trucking company in 1996, TC Distribution. Dan and Cheryl operated TCD for 10 years. He then went to Federated Coop in 2006 and was still employed there when he had his motorcycle accident in July 2014. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ascension Catholic Church (1100 Berkshire Boulevard N.W.) on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 11am. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com
