Dale Anning Wass passed away peacefully on April 3, 2013 at Valley Haven Guest Home in Chilliwack, BC at the age of 77 years. Dale was born in Ashmont, Alberta. He worked for Goodyear Canada Calgary for many years. He was district Sales Manager and supervisor. Before retiring, he was the owner of Save On Hub Caps in BC. Dale was involved for 30 years with the Lions Club in North Delta and Mt. Cheam. Dale will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 59 years, Christine and his children: Lorna (Bob), Rocky, Ricky, Blaine (Roz), Dean, Sandy (Ross), Sherry, Colleen (Sheldon), Dale Ann (Mark); and by 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Hugh (Betty); and many nieces and nephews. Dale is sadly predeceased by his mother Ealla; father Thomas; infant son, William; and sister Lois. Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers in Dale’s name to the Alzheimer’s Society. The family would like to thank Valley Haven Guest Home staff, Chilliwack Hospital and Dr. MacKenzie. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 1:30 pm at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home 45865 Hocking Avenue, Chilliwack, BC.
