Dale Leigh MYRAH

Dale Leigh Myrah passed away on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003 at home, at the age of 71 years. He was born December 14, 1931 in Saskatoon, Sask.

Dale is survived by his loving wife Rita, of 49 years; four children, Dan of Chilliwack, Brian (Joy) of Nova Scotia, Rob (Karen) of Ohio, and Rita (George) Frank of Ontario; grandchildren, Dale Gordon, Codey, Caine, Paige, and Danielle; and brother Bob of Kelowna.

He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Clara; brother Lloyd; and grandson Colton Myrah.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Feb. 28, 2003 at 2 p.m. from Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave., Chilliwack. Father Fred Tassinari officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the B.C. Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice.

Dale served for 28 years in the Canadian Military. He was a lifetime member of the Chilliwack Flying Club. He drove for four years as a bus driver with School District #33. Dale opened a heavy equipment training school in Botswana, Africa, and also served as a watchman at the Siwash/Anderson Logging Camps for Cattermole.
