Dale Dennis Friesen

February 28, 1939 - May 29, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Dale was born in Trail and raised with 6 brothers and 2 sisters on farms in the Abbotsford area and then Sardis. He drove logging truck in his early years, milked cows, and then drove gravel truck until his retirement at 75.
Dale was involved with the Chilliwack Riding Club in the 1970's and the Chilliwack Fair until recently.
Dale was a great support to his wife, Iris, especially during her illness. We are grateful to his brothers, his golfing buddies, and especially the truckers at the Husky for their support as Dale redefined his new life this year without Iris.
Dale leaves behind four daughters: Debora Soutar (Bill), Patricia Donnelly (Abraham), Julie Reid (Ernie) and Angie McDermid (Dan) plus 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration on Tuesday, June 21 from 2-4 at the Mt. Cheam Lions Club Hall, 45580 Spadina Ave.
