Cy passed away peacefully Tuesday September 6, 2011 at the age of 82 years. Cy is survived by his loving sons Allen (Melissa) and Stephen (Jannine); brothers, Gordon, Harold, Leslie, Arthur, Victor and one sister Eileen. Cy also leaves to mourn five grandchildren. Cy cherished his music and playing in the Campa Band as well as his passion for drafting.
Cyril arrived in Canada early during WWII, accompanied by his sister Eileen and brother Gordon. They lived with the Larsen family until the war was over.
Eileen and Gordon returned to England and Cyril remained to finish high school. He then worked for the bank of Commerce for several years.
The Webber children fit in beautifully with the Larsen family and became brothers and sister to Bill. Cyril and Bill both played the saxophone and for a few years with Niel Unra’s Dance band.
I have so many fond memories of our times together that will never be forgotten.
A celebration of life was held in Gordon’s residence in Campbell River.
